#145 Ebony, American Chestnut, Mahogany and Poplar Pianowood Bowl. 9″ x 4″ The top ebony rim is cut from actual salvaged piano sharp keys. They are fused together and then turned to the dimensions of a normal sharp. As a piano player, when I touch the rim of this bowl, it feels…very familiar. The Chestnut and Mahogany layers are sourced from a 1913 Chickering Quarter grand piano. Piano sourced poplar completes the bottom. Two, very small, filled, hinge screw holes are relics of this bowls musical history. Food safe finish composed of Carnauba wax, Bees wax, and Walnut oil.
